I have been successful in using the Remote Desktop feature when accessing a
host computer connected directly to the internet. However, I am now trying
to access a host computer that shares an internet connection via a router.
The ISP provides a dynamic IP address, so (I think) all 5 computers on the
peer to peer network are sharing a single IP address, which probably
changes.
Can Remote Desktop be used in this instance, and how would it work? If I
simply enter the shared IP address as "Computer Name", how would the router
direct it to the appropriate computer?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
