HORRIBLE Quality w/ Saved Movies :(

When I look at the clip in Preview, it plays fine. When I
play it in storyboard, it's low quality (I understand
that's just the way it is--fine). But when I save the
movie using the default BEST quality option, it has this
same POOR quality.

Any help would be MUCH APPRECIATED. THANK!

When you say 'Best Quality' do you mean 'Best Quality for
Playback on my computer'?

If so try some of the options in other settings, i
usually get best results with 'Video for local playback
(2.1 Mbps PAL)'. Some computers have this as the default,
so check to see if the setting details are different
between the two options.

Hope this helps.

Yes, I do. Thanks for your help. I will try what you
suggested. Thanks again! :)

When you capture video from your camcorder, always use the DV.AVI setting because this does not compress the video as do all the other capture settings. When you Save To Computer, always use the DV.AVI setting. Capturing and Saving with this setting maintains the original quality video on your camera's tape. You should not have any trouble importing the .avi files to an MPEG2 codec for DVD burning. Also, burning programs like Roxio and Nero will compress the .avi video to burn a VCD or SVCD. Always use DV.AVI to capture and save.
