HORM Without Reboot

Hi All,

Does anyone know of a way to hibernate the system with a reboot rather
than a shutdown? For example, if I use the XPEPM library, I would like
the call to XPE_Hibernate() to cause the system hibernate and come
back up rather than hibernate and shutdown.

Thanks! - Josh

Josh,

The only way I saw this implemented (without any changes in the XP kernel) was appropriate changes in power management code of the
BIOS used. Not sure if this is an option for you though.

Can you explain why do you need the device to reboot on hibernation call? I don't see any value in using hibernation then.
