On some pages for no apparent reason horizontal scrollbar appears even when
not needed. It only happens in IE6. Try www.birrnet.com for example. I have
tried everything but can not get rid of it. Please someone help.

Thanks very much Don. I guess I have to live with this.

Hi,
I suspect that it's caused by the way IE is rendering the CSS.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cascading_Style_Sheets There's nothing you can
do to make IE not display the horizontal scrollbar on this page.

The scroll bar does not appear with Firefox or (even) Mozilla 1.3, due to
the CSS being rendered differently.

This is a well-known IE6 bug that appears when you use frames.
