CanoScan FB 630P
Was scanning some pictures, and from one picture to the next, lines
started showing in the scan. I took off the glass from the scanner,
and sprayed some compressed air from a can... hoping it was a piece of
dust on the sensor (though I don't know what the sensor looks like,
since it was tucked under the body of the scanner and I just removed
the glass). There was no improvement.

Has anyone had luck trying to clean the sensor or calibration area?

Could it be something else? I haven't changed the power supply.

That's weird cuz I just started experiencing a similar problem and came
here to ask about it ...

I have a Canoscan 650u ... and after 4 years it's started to show vertical
bands, the band started thin and now it's two bands like this:

Is it software or hardware related?? At first I thought it was a reflection
and somehow the inside bar is reflecting off the glass, cuz it seems
locationed just above the bar. Do I remove the glass and wipe it off
inside??

OR is it something more serious ... etc ... Thanks
