Hooking up a laptop hard drive to a PC

Hi,

I have a MK4025GAS hard drive out of a laptop , its has a ata-6
interface, the laptop ahs broken and i want to retrieve the information
off it and all i have is another PC. Is there a cable that i can use to
conect the hard drive to the PCs IDE or USB ?

Get a 2.5" -> 3.5" HDD adapter (costs something like 10 EUR/USD)
and hook it up to a normal IDE cable.

No. Borrow another laptop and transfer data over network.

I bought an external USB2 2.5" drive enclosure to do this. There might
be cheaper ways, but it wasn't very expensive, and now I have a portable
little backup drive.
