Hi,
I have 2 PCs, one of which Homeworld 2 installs fine on, but the other
it wont!
When i run the setup program, the system is virtually unusable for
several minutes, producing a variety of errors each time.
Such as: MSVCR70.dll is not a valid windows image, Please check this
against your installation diskette.
Its not a problem with a corrupt file, because it doesnt work from cd,
copied to HD or across the network
I can find no reference to this error wrt the game, so it must be a
windows problem.
On the machine that it works on, the setup program (HW2_Setup.exe) has
an icon, on the machine it doesnt install on, this file has the standard
windows executable icon.
As far as I'm aware i have all my latest drivers etc for my nVidia NF7s
v2.0 Mobo.
Anyone got any ideas?
Im baffled!
Thanks
Andrew
