Do you have a third party pop-up blocker such as Google or Yahoo toolbar
installed? Or a Spyware checker program like Spybot: S&D or MS Anti-Spyware
program installed? Or any other Security Suite Program?
Check the programs options/tools section, and see if there is a setting to block
changes for you home page. You may need to turn that off, first before you can
change your homepage in IE.
