homepage and search window changed

Hi, recently another person in the house came across a
site that changed my homepage to www.cool-search.net and
also when I click the search button, normally the wizard
pops up, but now it's some other search window I've never
seen. When I click the customize button it brings up a
seperate search window with "PSN search" on it.
This "PSN" mimics the look of MSN. Any help would be
appreciated and if you need screenshots let me know.

You should run an anti spyware program and current antivirus program.
Get Spybot Search and Destroy or Adaware.
http://www.safer-networking.org/
http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/

And do a virus scan on your computer.
