Hi,
I recently purchased Home Premium (the upgrade version). I previously had
Windows XP installed and activated, then rebooted, formatted, and installed a
clean version of Vista. The product key was rejected due to an error message
looking like "you must install this product from XP, it does not support
clean installs". I have two questions.
Firstly, is it even possible to do a clean install with the Upgrade version?
Secondly, if not, can I upgrade to the full version of Home Premium? If so,
how much would it cost? I don't want to spend the money on upgrading to
Ultimate if I can help it.
Thanks very much for your time,
Brian Chambers
