D Don Varnau Dec 7, 2005 #2 Hi, If using Spybot S & D, open it to Tools> IE Tweaks> uncheck "Lock IE Start Page." Or, another security/privacy program may have locked the option. If Spybot didn't lock the StartPage, start with step #6 in this article: 320159 - Home Page Setting Changes Unexpectedly, or You Cannot Change Your Home Page Setting: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;320159 It's possible that a malware program locked the StartPage.
