No matter what homepage I select as default, the scan
finds it as a potential highjacker. It only likes MSM as
the home page. Anyone else have this problem?
 
I have not run into that one before. Be aware that it is
a Beta 1 that we are dealing with. Are all 3 real-time
agents active, and all 59 checkpoints enabled? Have you
run AdAware to see what it says, & SpyBot S&D for a third
opinion? Also, use and enable Spyware Blaster and Spyware
Guard to ensure protection.

I, too, cannot change my home page. I not only

installed Microsoft's free program but purchased Spy
Doctor. Still.........same home page. Anyone know what
gives?
 
Dorothy - please restart your machine in safe mode and scan twice with
Microsoft antispyware.
Let us know if this changes things, and also, what home page you are now
directed to.
 
If you go into the advanced section of the program you can
change it. I see no proble with this since several
spyware programs reset the IE browser back to its default
msn.com. Ad-aware SE sets it back to msn.com by default.
And just like MS antispyware you can change the default by
going into the advanced tools.
