How do you clear the list of home page locations that are
stored in the internet options page? Thanks...M

Hi,
These are coming from a History\index.dat file.
To delete the History and TIF folders (and the index.dat files.)
- - -
Free History Eraser:
http://smartprotector.com/eraser/free-history-eraser.htm
There are no "Are you sure?" dialogs with this program. Once you click on
Erase, the files are going. I would NOT enable Auto Erase.

Hands-on methods
- - -
Instructions for Windows ME:

Insert your WinMe bootdisk and restart.
Select: Minimal from the menu
From A:\ (type and press Enter after each command) (Confirm by hitting Y if
asked)
C:
cd \windows
smartdrv
deltree tempor~1
deltree history
Remove the disk and restart via Crtl-Alt-Delete.
- - -
Instructions for Win 95/98:
[from http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB;en-us;q221085]

Click Start, click Shut Down, click Restart in MS-DOS mode, and then click
OK.
At the command prompt, type the following commands, pressing ENTER after
each command, and pressing Y if you are prompted to confirm folder deletion:
cd\windows
smartdrv
deltree history
deltree tempor~1
exit

Type all commands VERY carefully
Deltree will delete whatever you tell it to delete.

For WinXP or Win2000
Log on as Administrator, or another user with admin access, and delete the
affected <username> History
folder(s).
For example:
"C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\HISTORY"
