I am a real novice, and have no idea about technical
issues, but this is really wrong. My IExplorer home page
is hijacked after ASBeta1 scan says it identifies a
possible browser hijack and claims it removes it. It
roughly identifies it located at the Internet Explorer
Search Page1. When checking details before removing it,
it says no information available on the "possible"
hijack. It changes my default page to "about blank"
after one time opening the internet home page. I have XP
system. I've done a safe mode start, and run MSBeta
scans, and it comes up with no issues. Then, I load main
XP at restart, and it happens again and again.

What's happening and what do I do about this Microsoft???

Try downloading this:
http://www.malwarebytes.biz/index.php?page=downloads
Install it and update it in regular mode, reboot to safe mode and run it
along with another scan with MSAS in safe mode.
