I have created my first website for my son's high school crew (rowing) team.
The main page of my site, on some computers, displays very large and all over
the place. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong and how to fix it. Thank
you

Not exactly the answer you want, but why are you putting soooo much on the
home page? Sooo many colors, so many fonts, red links on black that can't be
read, blue links on black that can't be read either. Why not put all your
sponsors on a separate page? Moving text is also considered amateurish.
Check what it looks like in Firefox as well as IE. I don't see everything
all over the place .... just too much to see and very slow loading.
ETC

Well, for starters the page contains:
Unique images: 53
Total images: 54
Total bytes: 9691500

Image loading will take about:
5881.66 seconds @ 14.4
2940.83 seconds @ 28.8
1514 seconds @ 56K

The Pete's Place image alone is: 6194214kb and 1638x1260 pixels in size
You need to use an image editor to resize / resample the images to the
actual sizes used on the page,
and not force the browser to resaize the images.

A good Free tool that will do this is IrfanView from www.irfanview.com
I would work on that first and then check back.
