I have a new pc and my partner has just bought a laptop, We use a cable dial
up connection and would like to connect them together so he can use printer,
internet etc, we took advise from local shop and they told us we would need
a cable to connect them both, which we bought, went through the networking
wizard, but with no joy.
Our we missing something, like a hub or adapter etc ?. I know a little about
the workings of the pc but home networking is beyond me.
