I am having great difficulty trying to get a home network between my XP and
Vista desktops. The vista platform can see and access the XP and its files
but the XP can only see the Vista. When I try and access the Vista I get an
"access denied" prompt telling me I need to contact the server administrator
and may not have priveleges. This continues with all firewalls disabled and
all share functions appropriately set. There must be something in Vista
preventing me from accessing it (all my to be shared printers and the like)
but I cannot fathom what it is I am missing!
