I have two HP desktop PCs, both running XP Home edition.
One is directly connected to a Lynksys hub. The other
connects via a wireless g.11 connection. When looking at
the workgroup, the wireless PC can see both itself and
the second PC. The second PC can see only itself. Both
can access the Internet via the hub. Both can ping the
other by IP number or by name. Both have Netbios enabled.
I've unloaded and reinstalled the drivers on both PCs.
Both have all XP patches.
When I try to access the second PC I get "\\PC2 is not
accessible. You might not have permission to use this
network resource, Contact administrator of this server to
find out if you ahve access permissions. Windows cannot
find the network path. Verify that the netowrk path is
correct and the destiantion computer is not busy or
turned off. If windows still cannot find the network
path, contact your network administrator."
Any ideas?
