I have set up a home network with XP as the host.

I have Windows 2000 Professional installed on another computer with Service
Pack 2. However, I can not get this computer to utilize my network adapter
and connect to the internet. Driver has been installed and detected.

What are the proper steps for setting up this computer so I can use this to
access the internet from my network?

Thanks

Assuming the XP can access the Internet, setup Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) on the XP, so that the Win 2k can access the internet. this link may help,
