says I may not have permission to access. It then says

.This should take care of your problem,if you have
anymore questions,don't hesitate to ask.
I'd like to confirm whether you have uninstalled the
firewall program on both
computers.

Please refer to the following steps to troubleshoot this
issue:

Step 1:
======
Use the steps below to check the IP address of the two
computer:

1. Click Start -> click Control Panel -> click Network
and Internet Connection
-> click Network Connections.
2. Double click the connection you use and click the
support tab.
3. Then you can find the IP address there.

Use Ping command to test the connection:

1. On one computer, click Start -> Click Run, type cmd
and press Enter.
2. Type the following command and press Enter:

Ping <the IP address of the other computer>

For example, if the IP address of the other computer is
192.168.0.2, please type
"Ping 192.168.0.2" (without quotation marks).

If you can see the response like "Reply from...", please
try to access the other
computer by IP address to see what the result is.

On one computer, click Start -> Click Run, type \\< the
IP address of the other
computer> and press Enter.

For example, if the IP address of the other computer is
192.168.0.2, please type
"\\192.168.0.2" (without quotation marks).

If we can ping the computers but cannot access the each
other by its IP address,
please go to Step 2.

Step 2:
=====
Please refer to the following steps to install NetBEUI
protocol on the
computers:

The files necessary for installing the NetBEUI protocol
on Windows XP are
Netnbf.inf and Nbf.sys. Complete the following steps to
install NetBEUI:

1. Insert your Windows XP CD into the CDROM drive
and browse to the
Valueadd\MSFT\Net\NetBEUI folder.
2. Copy Nbf.sys to the %SYSTEMROOT%\System32\Drivers
directory.
(Note:%SYSTEMROOT% is the directory where you install
Windows XP.)
3. Copy Netnbf.inf to the %SYSTEMROOT%\Inf hidden
directory.
4. Click Start, click "Control Panel", and then
double-click "Network
Connections".
5. Right-click the adapter you want to add NetBEUI
to, and then click
Properties.
6. On the General tab, click Install.
7. Click Protocol, and then click Add.
8. Click to select "NetBEUI Protocol" from the list
and then click OK.
9. Restart your computer if you receive a prompt to
complete the
installation.

Check this issue to see what the result is. As I
said,anymore problems,just ask.
