I'm having trouble with a home network. Using a Belkin
DSL/Cable router/firewall which is providing DHCP. Each
of 3 computer receive a valid IP address just fine. Each
computer can access the Internet just fine too. The
computers cannot all see one another. Sometimes one
computer can see one of the others, but not both.
Sometimes one computer cannot see any of the others.
Never have I been able to get all 3 to see all of the
others. By see, I mean both in the "My Network Places"
and pinging.

I have tried all new hardware. New network cables, new
hub (disconnected the firewall and used static IP
addresses). The Internet connection always works, but
internally, nothing works.

All computers have Windows XP Professional installed. It
worked just fine when all 3 had Windows 98 and Windows
2000, just a problem with Windows XP. They were not
upgraded, they were formatted and WIndows XP was
installed cleanly.

I'm having the exact same problem. Maybe we're stuck in
the brain but I've been over this sveral times and I come
up with nothing. (Actually, I've never gotten one
computer to see another, yet I can share printers.
