I have a home network using a linksys router with 2 PCs
running XP Pro and Norton Firewall and untilities.

I have used the network wizard on both computers and I
cannot see either computer from the other. I have tried
many solutions to no avail.

If you can provie assistance, it would be greatly appreciated.

.
In your start menu hit run
type in services.msc /s
find the service called Remote Procedure Call(RPC)
there should be two of them
right click go to properties
startup type should be auto on the general tab
on the recovery tab all 3 pull downs should be in the
restart service position
that should take care of your problem

The most likely problem is that a firewall is blocking access.
Permanently disable XP's built-in firewall. Un-install Norton
firewall while troubleshooting.

I'm having exactly the problem and I don't have a firewall
setup as they're not connected to the internet.
