My computer had been set as server to share internet
connection with another computer in home. We no longer
need this computer to be server. How can I remove those
settings so Outlook Express mail settings can go
to "pop.charter.net" and not "local host". Right now I
must always manually change the account info before I can
receive or send mail. Thanks

I don't think that XP's Internet Connection Sharing feature caused the
"local host" setting for E-mail. That setting is probably the result
of installing an antivirus program and configuring it to scan incoming
E-mail messages. It could also be due to installing a non-Microsoft
proxy server program to share the Internet connection.
