Not sure if this is the place to put this but any help would be great.

I have a regular wireless router with 4 ports in the back. I have the
router up and running on my DSL connection and my local PC's are wired in
and can surf the net with no issues.

Problem :
I however need both of these PC's to be running web servers. I've been
trying for the past few days to just get one up and running. I can hit the
web server locally, but I'm unable to do any sort of port forwarding or DMZ
to access it outside of my LAN. Even if I can just get one up and running
I'd be extremely happy.

Setup:
PC 1 - windows xp
PC 2 - windows 2000
ISP - Aliant broadband
Router - inexq 802.11g (isw054t)

First, only one of your computers will work as a server from outside
your network unless they use different ports.

Several possibilities here.

When accessing the server from the internet, you must use the IP
address your ISP assigned to your router, not the one the router
assigned to your computer. You will have to status your router to get
that address or use a service such as:
<http://www.whatismyipaddress.com/>

Also, some ISPs (such as mine) prohibit putting a server on their
network and, as a result, the ISP actively blocks the ports for FTP,
HTTP, and several others. Check the fine print in your Terms of
Service to see if this may be the case for you.

HTH,
John
