I see this subject line a lot!
I finally got my home network running properly (desktop
and laptop hooked up to a router) last week.
Then I took my laptop into work, and it hooked in fine
with that network.
The problem is, now that I'm home again, my network no
longer works. If I click on 'my network places' I see my
work computers. If I hit refresh, it doesn't change. My
name on my laptop, and my domain name, are correct.
I'm baffled!!
any suggestions?
Thx.

Is is possible that your laptop is still set up to access
the company network? I would try to look at the properties
of the network connection.... check out TCP/IP properties
of the TCP/IP instance that is bound to the network card
(Right click your connection and select "Open Network
Connections", then right-click the appropriate connection
and select "Properties", then highlight "TCP/IP" and
select "Properties".) Beware of the wrong Static IP
{appropriate for work) or the wrong Gateway information
for your home setup.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the reply.
There were no settings to change. MY TCP/IP settings
didn't change (and I did double check).
It's set to get an IP address automatically.
Any other suggestions?
thanks,
