A problem with my friends home network which I set up
with Belkin wireless lans with 1pc on Broadband o/s
WinXp, 1PC Win2K & Laptop WinXp.

It has been running since March without any probs but now
the main PC has lost the other two from the network
group.

The Laptop & other PC talk to each other, and the Belkin
lan is pasing packets to each other but although I use
the Network Wizard to re-establish the group, it fails
with error but does not say what it is.

I have gone back to a previous point over a month ago but
this has not worked.

Any suggestions would be welcome; oh and the broadband
connection is working, and no other problems exist.

Reset the belkin wireless router to the default sttings
and start over

Thanks David but I have already done that but one thing I
have noticed. When I go into the properties to check
whether my friend had enabled XP Firewall, the property
box is blank, well it's not what I expected. I suspect
that he has done something, or something has happened and
it's a real simple problem.

Thanks, Scott
