I have a small network out of my home and I need help in
sharing the PC's.

Computer #1 has Windows 2000
Computer #2 has Win 98SE
Computer #3 has Win XP PRO

They are all attached to a 5 port hub.

Computer 1,2 can see each other and also 3. However, they
cannot access Computer 3. Computer 3 cannot see computer 1
or 2. I have pinged all computers and they work. Any
suggestions on getting this to work??

Thanks in advance..

Unfortunatly, I have had a similar problem. The answer I
recieved was the XP runs under NTFS and 98SE runs on 32bit
FS. Win 2000 can swing either way depending on insallation
(can specify NTFS or 32bitFS)

Someone gave you bad information, Cameron.

The disk format is completely irrelevant in network access. All
versions of Windows can access disks on all other versions. Each
computer knows how to read its own disk and send the contents to other
computers on the network.

i would have to agree here, fully. i have shares on a Linux server
(entirely different file system) that function just fine on a windows
network.
