Looking for a side by side comparison of MCE and Pro. With a growing business
I have a home network already set up with two desk tops and two lap tops. In
the market to buy a new laptop. I travel and on ocassion need to connect to
my home network. Most of laptops seem to come with MCE.

Been to
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/home/howtobuy/choosing2.mspx
Only compares XP home and XP Pro
and
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/evaluation/compare.mspx

XP MCE is a superset of XP Professional. It has everything in Professional
(except the ability to join a domain) plus its extra media features.

Unless you need to join a domain (and from the above, it wouldn't seem so)
MCE should be fine for you, even if you never need or use its media
features.
