Home machine / Server sync

I've looked around pw.org, and googled to only really find TreeComp and
I'm not entirely sure that will do the job.

All I want to do, without involving the command line, is point one part
of the program at a directory on my machine, and the other at a
directory on a server. It must then sync the files according to date
last modified, and move any that now exist in one place to the other -
but only one way.

For instance:
I download a complete site backup.
In a month, I want the program to query the server, and bring down any
changes (and files) without uploading any.

Does such a program exist ?

Thanks for your time.

You could try "Web-Host-Uploader" from notepad.com.
http://notepad.com/web-host-uploader.htm
<from their page:>

Web-Host-Uploader (WHU) is a powerful tool to simplify uploading changes to
your website. Just launch a WHU .upload task after modifying your website
locally. WHU will upload only those files which have been modified. This way
you never forget to upload a file -- simplifying website maintainance
dramatically!

Haven't tried it but it sounds like what you're looking for and it is
freeware.

That looks perfect for one of my sites - thank you !
Unfortunately, the other site is where I need the 'download sync' only,
no uploads. I do the coding and maintenance, but the owners upload many
images and to keep up to date backups, I don't really want to have to
download 100meg+ full backups. Be nicer just to get the new files - they
have many galleries, so finding the new stuff one-by-one would just be
very tedious for me, and no.. they'd never manage to keep a nice list
for me :)

SyncBack is a terrific program to do this. I use it regularly to sync
my main work laptop to my passive backup machine, only copying files one
way. You can get it from:
