The home folder could not be created because: The account is not authorized
to log in from this station.

I am receiving this error when I am configuring the home folder option in
the user account tab in the Domain Controller.

Thanks comments

What path\location are you using for the home folder location? It
should be something along the lines of \\servername\share\user - where
share should be a file share with rights for the appropriate
users/groups.

I follow the right process because it works fine when I created the home
folders on a domain Win2000. But when I do the same process on the domain
Win2003 I received that error. The flag show up when I configuring the home
folder in the Domain Controller (\\servername\share\%username%). Might me a
GPO issue?

Assuming that the share and folders are created with the appropriate
permissions, from the users desktop can you go to
\\servername\share\username and get to the folder that way? Or do you
get a permission error?

User Properties - Profile Tab - Home Folder - Connect: (z:) To:
\\servername\sharename\%username% ... when I click ok I receive this message

"The home folder could not be created because: The account is not authorized
to log in from this station"

Obviously the home folder could not be created.

I think it is a GPO issue ... Not sure about it I'm researching
