Greetings --

No version of Windows has ever come with those applications. Those can be
purchased seperately or with Microsoft Office.

Some computer manufacturer's will bundle additional software packages
together with an Operating System when they sell their systems. This
sometimes leads people to assume that these separate apps are components of
Windows. If you are planning on purchasing a system that has Windows XP
preinstalled make certain you check to see what comes installed with the OS
and ensure that you have some way to reinstall these apps in the event that
becomes necessary.

A decent freeware alternative to the Microsoft Office Suite is OpenOffice.
It's Calc and Impress applications are similar to Excel and PowerPoint.

Greetings --

No, of course not.

Neither the Microsoft Office application suite, nor any of its
individual component applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access,
Outlook, etc.), have _ever_ been "part" of *any* Windows operating
system. They are, and always have been, separate applications, that
must be purchased and installed separately.
