Long shot here. Just wondering if there is any freeware out there for
small businesses. My son just opened up a small auto repair shop.
We're looking for something pretty basic, mostly just money in / money
out. Thanks.

I use X-Sheet invoicing. It is register-ware (free registration...no
spam from them)

It works well. If you just need banking software, try Ace Money Lite.

For something that basic, use a spreadsheet. MSWorks has a built in
template, I would imagine Office does too.

Thanks for the ideas and references. I tried that babya program and
what a PITA it was to remove. After I ran the uninstall program, I
discovered that the Program File files were still there with all the
contents! Then I spent a half hour removing all the registry entries
for it. When will software programmers learn that "uninstall" really
should mean UNINISTALL! Freeware or not, I'll just say no to babya.
The others may be just as bad. But I'm hopeful. Thanks again.

Total Uninstall can help you to monitor any changes that were made to
your system during installation of a new software product. It allow you
to perform a complete uninstall without having to rely on the supplied
uninstall program which may leave files or changes behind.

To use it, you simply launch the installation program from the Total
Uninstall interface and select the system areas to be monitored. The
program will then create a snapshot of your system before it installs
the new software and an additional snapshot after install completes. It
then compares the two snapshots and displays all changes in a graphical
tree view, marking all values and/or files that have been added or
changed. Total Uninstall will save these changes and if you decide to
uninstall the application, it will reverse the changes to the previous
state.
