Here is the problem.
I was doing some configurations on the server.
There are 5 workstations connecting the Internet through
this server. And all of the 5 workstations are in
group "GLOBAL".
There were only this group on the server at this time.

I used the "home and small office network" in the "my
network places" .
I tried to build a new group "GLOBAL FOOD".
When I built the new group "GLOBAL FOOD", there are two
groups "GLOBAL FOOD"+"GLOBAL" on the server.
But there is no workstations in the new group, and the
workstations are still in the group of "GLOBAL",(I do not
know why).

At this time, the workstations cannot connect the Internet.

The first thing I want to do is to restore it to a
previous profile.
I tried to delete the new group, but there is not "delete"
option in the menu.
How can I fix the problem?
Because this is a big trouble for the company, I need the
answer ASAP.

Thanks

What were you trying to achieve?
There are 5 workstations connecting the Internet through
this server. And all of the 5 workstations are in
group "GLOBAL".
There were only this group on the server at this time.
Do you mean Workgroup or Domain here?
I used the "home and small office network" in the "my
network places" .
I tried to build a new group "GLOBAL FOOD".
When I built the new group "GLOBAL FOOD", there are two
groups "GLOBAL FOOD"+"GLOBAL" on the server.
Yes there will be, because you created the new Global food group on the
server alone.
Your network explorer list will show each workgroup on the network whether
you're a member of it or not.
Why are you trying to create another group?
But there is no workstations in the new group, and the
workstations are still in the group of "GLOBAL",(I do not
know why).
Yes, because each workstation defines which workgroup it's in. You'll have
to go to each machine and change the settings.
At this time, the workstations cannot connect the Internet.
Is THIS your real problem?
The first thing I want to do is to restore it to a
previous profile.
I tried to delete the new group, but there is not "delete"
option in the menu.
No there isn't a delete button. It's mandatory to be a member of a workgroup
(or a domain if using pro on your workstations with a file server running NT
or win2000 server). Rename the server workgroup to GLOBAL or change all the
other machines workgroups to Global Food.

If this is an internet connection problem, can you describe how your network
connects to the internet and give a better description of what is going
wrong please.
