Thank you. Can you refer me to an article which explains the difference
between shared folders and public folders? I figured out how to create a
holiday calendar as a shared folder but then everyone sees it with my name
first. When I tried a public it isn't visible under the calendars tab and so
can't be overlaid with the regular calendar.
Can a public folder be seen in the section it belongs, ie. public contacts
under contacts and public calendars under calendars etc.?
A shared folder is still contained in your mailbox, a public folder is
contained in a central store outside of your mailbox.
If you add a public folder calendar to your Public Folder Favourites
(right-click menu)in Outlook 2003 or 2007 then you should see it in your
Calendars. The same goes for contacts etc.
