"HOLE"--A NON-PORN QUESTION (HONEST)

All of a sudden during the Start-up/sign-on process--it does not stop
the process--an error-type screen appears and announces "Hole has
encountered a problem and needs to close".

The screen then offers to tell Microsoft about this problem and asks
me to elect "Send" or "Don't Send" the Report to Microsoft. I have
elected "don't send", but my real question is what is "hole" and what
might have all of a sudden triggered this Screen coming up soon after
sign on?

The "Files" to be included in the error report should I ever elect it
are

C:\Docume~1\ . . .\Temp\ . . .\appcompat.txt

Seems legit except for the scary name of the proposed Error Report
(Hole).

just out of curiosity do a virus,adware scan just to see
if the program is legit. Also do a search on the computer
for all the files and folders for HOLE?.
