Somehow I got this toolbar installed with IE 6.0 and have
been unable to remove it completely. The control panel
does not list it as a program nor does a search specific
for it. I have updated and scanned for viruses to no
avail. Any suggestions?

somewhere get "spybot" or other spy detect software
search in google for this item....use it and find other
spyware on your system

hint...before running spybot each time delete your
cookies in internet options.

see/search other posts for more information on spybot.

First option is to run Ad-Aware scan (www.lavasoftusa.com). If the toolbar
entries are not removed still,

ToolbarCop:
http://www.angelfire.com/dragon/sramesh2k/utils/ToolbarCop.exe

Manual Procedure:
Start Registry Editor (Regedit.exe)
Go to the following location and check each GUID sub-key. One of which is
the malware toolbar entry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Extensions

Also, check here:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Extensions
{check the values in the right-pane to identify the malware toolbar.)

Spot the entry and delete the appropriate key (backup the registry first)
