Ho do I make user interfaces with more 3D-effects

I would like to make forms with more advanced visual effects than available
in Access forms.

I would like to be able to create icons (fancy 3D-stuff) and show
reflections in the background etc. Preferrably with some animation facilities
when icons are clicked and other possible built-in facilities.

Can anybody reccommend a product - either stand-alone or as a plug-in for
Access - for that?

Perhaps search on HTML 5 or ray tracing. Also check out Microsoft
Silverlight and Adobe Flash and Director. I use Adobe Acrobat 9.0 Pro
Extended for 3D, which can be shown in Access, but I'm not sure that it
has ray tracing capabilities. Although the number of bits available for
icons has increased, I think that if animation of the icons is possible,
you'd have to render a 3D animation as an animated 2D graphic. I'd love
to have a 3D desktop where I navigate through space to select icons in 3D.
