hello all

very occasionally, the colour on my LCD monitor go's purple.... i guess what i am sayin is that the screen turns a deep shade of purple. i can still see ok, it's just everything now has a purple glow about it.....

any ideas?
 
Mine occasionally goes magenta - last time it happened I updated the graphics card drivers and it seemed to fix it. My monitor is old though - it's definitely on it's way out.

If giving the monitor a light bash fixes it, its the monitor.

If that dosent fix it, it still might be the monitor. Maybe the graphics card. Or the connection ;)
 
ok lol, i am getting a new graphics card for crimbo (yay!!) so hopefully the problem will be fixed.
