Hi All,

I am told on another forum that this key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\AutoEndTasks=1

is suppose to end all tasks and log off all users on XP shutdown.
I know it ends all tasks, but I was unaware that is also
logged off all users. Can anyone verify this for me?

Many thanks,
-T

Logging off users is one of the first events that occur during
the shutdown process. Ending tasks will be one of the last
events before powering off.

It is an unattended shutdown and I can not click the prompt
to log off users. I am looking for a work around for this
prompt.

(The computer is a virtual machine and the power off trigger
comes from the hypervisor.)

log of users.

This is all it does.
Automatically Close Non-Responding Applications on Shutdown or LogOff.
