i had the a problem with my svchost. There should be a few occurances running in the back ground but they should not be taking up nearly that much cpu. I whent to tweaktown and fallowed a system optimization guide called from reformat to relax and it fixed my problems. You do not have to do all of what the guide says (i did not reformat and some of the changes i did not want or was scared to do). Mostly i fixed my services as recomended an shut down startup programs is did nto need and that fixed it. Also i would run the registry clean up and the adware software remover.
