FP 2002 hit counters have the option to set the starting
number to a specific digit, but mine always starts at
zero despite selecting a different number.
Why would this be?

Open the live site in FP, then open the _private folder find the
pagename.htm.cnt file for the page, open in notepad, reset the number to
what you want, do not change the number of digits, save.
