Highlight it and press delete.
Repeat for each entry you want gone.
Looking up old girlfriends, eh?
Just kidding!

okay....i know i can do that. DUH!! But i don't need to
do that for 100's of entries. Why doesn't the "Clear
History" function work?

My understanding is that "Clear History" clears the urls
in the address bar, as well as the "History Folder".
I am not aware that it is supposed to clear entries in the
search engine drop downs. The only way I have done it, is
to open the drop down, highlight the first one, and hold
the delete key down til it goes through the whole list.
If there is an easier way, I don't know it :{{

1. Click Start/Setting and choose Control Panel.
2. Double Click Internet Options.
3. On the Content Tab in the Personal Information section click on
AutoComplete.
4. In the Clear AutoComplete History section of the AutoComplete Setting
dialog box click on Clear Forms.
5. Click on OK.

I also am having trouble deleting my history folder I've
tried different things and it just won't delete it looks
like it's deleted but when I go and check the history
floder click on the view and highlight date and pick
today all the history is still there. How can I fix this
problem?

PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU HAVE AN ANSWER!!!!!

When you delete the History Folder you need to be signed on as another
user/administrator, if using Windows 2000 or XP I believe.

That does not seem to work either!!!
