I cannot get IE to erase my history. I have gone through all the motions:
erase history from Internet Options, deleted files in the registry, etc. The
only thing that I can think might be going on, is that I connected my three
home computers together on a home network this week and that perhaps somehow
I have "locked" the clear history capability. Any thoughts?

.I'm having the same problem, have you heard anything

With no IE windows open, try it from Control Panel> Internet Options>
General> Clear History.

These entries might be in the registry in a TypedURLs key:
157729 - How to Clear the History Entries in Internet Explorer:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q157729
DelTypedURL.inf from http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/DelTypedURL.inf will clear
this list.
EditURLs from http://www.aandrc.com/editurls/index.htm will clear selected
entries.

You might need to delete the damaged History folder- a new one will be
created on restart.

Free History Eraser from
http://smartprotector.com/eraser/free-history-eraser.htm will delete the
History folder in Windows 9x,2K, XP.

Another program might be locking your history.
