Looking for a way via group policy or registry setting to change all users
about 5500 PC's to have the same IE history setting of 20 days. Some users
have adjusted settings and we wold like to set them all back to 20 days and
lockout changes. Any ideas? Thanks

In GP, you can lock out changes to the History setting in:

User Configuration\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Internet
Explorer\

I don't see a setting in GP for History's "days to keep".

Via the registry - http://www.winguides.com/registry/display.php/537/

See this for a script (and the registry setting within) for how to change
the "days to keep":
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/scriptcenter/resources/qanda/dec05/hey1214.mspx
You could roll this out as a start-up script, then apply the GP restriction.

If you are trying to administer IE over that many users, check out the
IEAK - which should allow you to set and manage this an many other things in
IE much easier:
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/ie/ieak/default.mspx

Thanks Jon.....Great info!
