I wonder about history of "domain" concept in IT. Does it start with Windows
or has another background?

The Domain Name System existed (invented around 1983) long before
Windows used domains and before Windows existed. Are you referring to
DNS domains or Windows domains anyway? In Windows 2003 both types of
domains are very similar now but they did not used to be when Windows
relied in NetBIOS names and used workgroups.

U talk about those links as answer? They are not answer. Plus i don't
like answers like "Go to Google". I already use Google, if i can't find
exact answer that i looking for, i use other altertives. Brandon's answer is
more closed. Thank you.

I believe it goes back to OS/2 and LANMAN which has a similar workgroup type
layout, this slowly evolved into the full blown Windows domain concept.
