History in the address bar I can't get rid of...

I don't know if this is a virus or anything and was wondering if someone
could help? I've deleted the history, cookies, temp files and everything, but
it keeps showing up history on my address bar. History I -don't- want to be
there. It was my partner's younger brother and he has a tendancy to visit any
site going without thinking about concequences. He accessed a few adult sites
on my computer. Now if I clear everything and type one letter, it comes up
with the site address even though everything esle is deleted.

I hope I'm making sense.

Any ideas or resoultions will be appreciated and thanks in advance.
