history archival

I get a message that says the history is getting big and I should archive
it. I try to delete or truncate the information on the scans and I get a
warning message. There is no function that allows me to send the scan
histories to a file or compact them. Does any one have any suggestions?

You can lose information if you try to truncate it, such as statistics
including the number of scans run, if that is important to you. I don't know
if it will work, but its always a try, restart in safe mode and then try
archive it. My own is taking a really long time to load, it even has MSAS
displaying Not Responding in TaskManager, but I know it will eventually come
up.
