I just installed BCM from CD --
#1 how can I tell what version of BCM I currently have installed? In
outlook, Help | About shows no reference; just About Microsoft Office
Outlook (yes, the full menu is expanded).
#2 (again, I'm new), when I try to create a new contact/account (or look at
an existing contact/account that was copied over from my outlook contacts),
the History pane is filled with all email in my Inbox. Should this not be
empty so I can associate the messages??
Beyond this, when I click the Add... button for History, the button simply
depresses, but nothing happens. Same for the Business Contacts button.
#3 I'm trying to create a new Account (just naming it Test under Account
Name field). When I save it, I get a message:
"The File As field for this contact is empty. You may not have
entered a name or company..."
I see no File As field! And I'm pretty sure I named it "Test".
I think knowing that I have the most recent version is important - How?
I'm trying to follow online help, but some of my screens appear different
than are shown. Oh Microsoft...
