Will it work? Just the one graphics card? I went and ordered the wrong
card and it arrived this morning. Just wondering if it's compatible
to be used as a single card on my board, otherwise i may as well send
it straight back and not waste my time installing it.

Thanks guys.

My understanding is that the Crossfire "master" cards, can be used as a
stand-alone video card, also. Generally, the two biggest differences
seem to be that the master cards have:
A) The compositing chips
B) The "special" video connector that requires the Crossfire dongle
cable, which will still allow dual monitor use, if you're so inclined

Just got a x1650XT and that has the dual CXF connetors at the top, but
does not need them in the DFI board as it says the CXF is all done in the
socketing i.e. does not need the dongle. It also says that you dont need a
master card with it.

As this card is classed as a x1950 just with a lower memory bandwidth I
expect its the same.
