Hijacking Problem, Please Help - Anyone?????

I am attempting to h elp a cousin of mine with their family computer. Too
many kids clicking too many things.

I don't have the spare time to format and set up this computer again so am
looking for help.

Please anyone that can help, email me at (e-mail address removed),
remove the NOSPAM to reply to that address.

The problem. I get pop ups and have a problem with the internet explorer
homepage.

When I start Internet Explorer, It brings me to www.updatesystempage.com and
tells me that the computer is infected. I can then surf to other sites but
if I click the homepage button it takes me back to that site. It does not
matter what I go in and set the homepage setting to, it still goes to that
page.

Also I get tons of pop ups, and a little yellow information window opens by
the clock, just like a Microsoft update or information window.

I have Adaware by lavasoft installed, microsoft antispyware and Norton
Antivirus installed. They all detect things and clean them, but when I
reboot, the problems are back.

Can anyone out there help me out?
